At Airth Castle & Spa we have a selection of beautiful rooms in which you can hold your ceremony, keeping the entire celebration under one roof, these can be either religious or a Civil Ceremony.
A Religious marriage whether it be Christian or non-Christian, may be solemnised only by a minister, clergyman, pastor, priest or other person entitled to do so under the marriage (Scotland) Act 1977.
If you do not have an appointed minister from any religious origin to conduct the marriage service we can endeavour to organise the local Parish Minister to perform the ceremony.
A Civil marriage may be solemnised only by a Registrar or an Assistant Registrar who has been authorised by the Registrar General for that purpose.
This Can be obtained from the registrar on payment of the appropriate fee
There are many beautiful areas in which you can have your ceremony within the Resort. We are fortunate enough not only to be blessed with a fairytale stunning Castle for your backdrop, but also a selection of flexible and character filled rooms at your disposal ensuring that your day is perfect.
The largest of our suites and located in the main resort building hotel part of our resort, this room is very majestic and visually attractive with its unique octagonal shape and vaulted timber roof which adds presence to any event
This very charming room was created from the ruins of the ballroom built in 1805 over the Castle Stables. Elegant and completely filled with character, from the natural daylight flooding in through the many windows to the Pillared walls, hanging chandeliers to the impressive stone staircase leading down onto the courtyard and lounge areas - this room would suit all your needs

This elegantly proportioned suite and its Stateroom Lounge within Airth Castle itself is beautiful. Floor to ceiling picture windows overlooking the River Forth & Forth Valley, vaulted ceilings, historic paintings, ornate mirrors, dominant Adam fireplaces in both rooms it has to be one of the most prestigious suites in Scotland.
The Suites either work in partnership with each other or equally lend themselves to be individual, and with the heavy double ornate doors this can happen with ease
